controls bug?
The game keeps acting like am holding a key when am not, and is just this game.
Is there a community made patch/mod to fix this? It is literally unplayable for me.

Which key is it that is erroneously being held down?

Also do you have controllers plugged in when you are playing with mouse and keyboard?

i've tried playing with just controller and with just keyboard and mouse. I did unplug controller when unplugged.

For starters, the radial menu is opening with Left Trigger instead of "B" (i've checked the control scheme)
When it opens, it doesn't close.
It sometimes doesn't let me melee.
It sometimes wont let me run.
It will only reload 1 bullet and then fire it even without me pressing anything.
It refuses to put the gun down.

All of them are "solved" if I press Start and close, but as soon as I press a second button after the one I wanted, it bugs again.

It feels as if it gets stuck on the first button I pressed when I press the second one.

I've tried re-installing and everything.

And is ONLY on Alien Isolation am having this issues.

Forgot to add: it will sometimes instantly fail quick-time button-smash before I even't get a chance to press anything (and it gets "fixed" by pausing/unpausing the game)

Strange. Lock your frames per second to 60 and see if that fixes it. You wouldn't believe how many problems that solves in this game.

Then I have no idea. Can't even find anything on Google.

I use an Razer Orbweaver and before this a Belkin Nostromo. Had in many games and applications strange behaviours like you described it, but sooner or later it was always a "stuck" key on one of my input devices and/or a broken driver.

Because you tried nearly everything that I would do this information possibly will not help you, but I also often was quite sure that it can't be a problem with the input devices themselves.. and at the end it was exactly that. So maybe disconnect ALL of them and use a different keyboard and mouse (if have access to a second pair of input devices), see what's happening? Also disconnect any input device that is not necessary, like a joystick, a VR headset, a wacom tablet, etc and connect the keyboard and mouse directly to your PC, not through a hub or your screens USB ports.

I disconnected all input devices that aren't the one being used on the game, I tested a different keyboard and mouse, and it was still having "sticky" key.

Tested different USB ports.

I even opened on the second screen a input monitor to get all that is being pressed (controller/mouse/keyboard).

It is the game that is broken.

It must be a driver or something that is causing this. I've been on these forums since around 2015 and I've never heard of this problem before. I know that doesn't help you but I did spend 20 minutes scouring Google to try and find other people who had this problem and I couldn't find anything to help you :lunar2019deadpanpig:

I found lots of people who had problems after re-mapping the exit key. It seems only Q will work as the exit key. Did you remap any keys at all? Maybe try putting all controls back to default.
