Multiple Aliens in game or only 1?

According to the story there is only 1 alien... If you fancy avoiding multiple aliens from early on there are mods for that though

There's only one alien that chases you through the whole game.

But it doesn't mean you're safe...

There is one alien that chases you (because it wants revenge for what your mother did to its mother).

There were old bugs that could cause multiple aliens to appear in the same area, but that was unintentional.

If that was a bug, it still is a bug cause the 2nd playthrough I just finished today had 2 aliens in the nest

there is just one for a long while, but later on when you are in the hive there are a few facehuggers and multiple big ones

that isn't a spoiler...saying there is 2 enemies is not a spoiler. Considering the entire game is about Alien there will be an Alien pretty much everywhere. Saying there is 2 at one point is not a spoiler and if any knowledge of Alien at all is known then it would be weird to assume there is just 1 Alien to begin with

Technically all of these people are wrong. Sure on your first play through youll see what appears to be one alien. However if you pay attention to specific npc dialogue, audio logs, and live radio ins its suggestive youre dealing with more than one.

In reasonableness youre likely dealing with 4 xenos before the nest, just one at a time.

And before anyone tries to reason with me about then where are the aliens after you blow the one out into the gas giant. Arent you aware that ripley only sees about 1% of the entire station? Its 15km wide and 5km tall. The other aliens are off somewhere else until the nest.

A little proof. But not limited to. In mission 4 on your way back. Before the elevator back to mission 3 area. There are people live radioing in asking for help. One of the people says, "hello i saw something" but doesnt say what it is. Another "it took my daughter" yet there is an alien in the vent right next to you. And those are not recordings they are people live radioing in. Back when axel and you encounter the two people with shotguns. "What if they come for us" "then we will shoot the hell out of them". Etc.
