The tabletop rpg was just released
I got the pdf from drivethrurpg. Haven't played yet but the rules are pretty solid. The writing is fantastic. The book is very well organized. Lots of guidelines for how to do things in the universe without actually complicating the game. I'm excited to start a campaign with my friends.

I'm a dnd2e kinda guy no other ttrpg has done it for me but I'm a big aliens fan and this is interesting.

My group played the intro scenario from the back of the book last weekend. We all really liked the system and I'm looking forward to playing more of it. It's especially cool that it is set up for more than just the type of scenarios you see in the films - there is plenty there to run campaigns having nothing to do with xenomorphs. The mechanics would also make for a really good Firefly RPG.

That's what I was thinking!!! Solid foundation for a firefly-styled game.

Well, fortunately you can get a heads up from Drivethru without going to Dicebreaker. I'll probably get the game at some point but the hardcopy version.
