claps :)
At this point, don't do through the door to advance the story - turn back and explore Sevastopol at your own leisure. This is the point where you have level 3 in every tool, so you can open every door and explore all the stuff you couldn't before. Then when you're done, go through the door and continue the story.
Well I'm not gonna spoil it for you... there may or may not be another alien.
However, you're playing a game about the alien. The part where you blast it into the gas planet and get back on Sevastopol is only roughly 50% of the way through the game. Do you really think a game about the alien would get rid of the alien half way through and not bring it back?
It's been a year or more since I last played the game... I think there might actually be two aliens at that point lol.
But by this point in the game you'll have the flamethrower and tons of pipe bombs and molotovs (the tons of materials to make pipe bombs and molotovs).
Exploring with the alien thumping around in the vents is the most thrilling part of this game man.
