Should I watch the movies before playing the game?

I just watched 1 of the movies years ago but not the entire saga

Think you need to watch the first movie and you can go play

While it's not necessary, you're gonna love the game more if you watch the first one

You need to watch Alien (1979, first one) just because is the best movie ever made!

Yeah, I tried getting into this game years ago, but it didn't grab me fast enough. Had to watch the first movie before it hooked me. Don't know if that's my tastes changing, or the result of understanding what I'm seeing.

I don't think you have to watch them but it might be something you may wanna do if you like the game. I honestly got interested in aliens from the early 90s video games and toys not movies. In fact Aliens and Alien3 were my first films, and the first one I saw later.
