Sound Fix for the Alien death Bug (NVIDIA users)
Many of you have been having this issue where the alien makes no sound when getting killed yah? Well the main issue is that the game itself is not meant to be played over 60 fps to fix death sounds sadly, and turning on Vsync in game doesn't make the game cap at 60 for some unknown reason. So to cap your frames at 60 You need to open your NVIDIA control panel, and go to Manage 3D settings afterwards select program settings and select alien isolation. You would then go down to Max Frame rate and turn it on and set it to 60 fps max. Make sure to hit apply and go in game to test the alien death sounds and they should be fixed. Hope this helps the NVIDIA gamers, though sadly I can't help those with AMD at the moment if they're experiencing this issue.

On another note, If you feel the need to have a video to make it easier, just give me a heads up or watch a tutorial on youtube.

Just curious if this helps too with the slowmo after cutscenes.

Not entirely sure if it fixes the slowmo cut scenes, I'll have to look into that one. But in the meantime try turning on vsync as well, It seems to have fixed that problem for gamers, and to see if It'll have affect on the slow mo. If it's already on I'll see what else I can dig up.

Vsync was already set ON. Did help a bit, the slowmo dissappears after 5 seconds. Some people say enabling vsync did help them with this problem. Other say they disable the nvidia replay recording (i didnt have installed it). I want to try your way too instead of just only enable vsync.

Edit: looks like your way solved slowmo 100% since I didn’t notice it after playing mission 13 to 15.

Well as long as that make it go away after a few seconds thats good, for now, but I'll see if theres a way to fix it permanent.

My monitor is completely locked to 144hz, so i couldn't go to 60hz even if I wanted to. Is there any other way to fix this? Like a mod or something? Using NVIDIA.

I play with 165hz with my frames locked at 60, and the problem is gone so the Hertz doesn't really matter its mainly the frames. Another method is downloading MSI afterburner that should go with Rivatuner to let you limit your frames as well. There's guides on youtube on where to download Rivatuner and MSI after burner. I used the NVIDIA control panel so I don't have to go through all that process.
