Does the mic work in game?

i know on xbox you can have the mic on option but i dont see it on pc. so any info on that?

For what would you use the mic? It's a single player game with no voice chat or voice control.

After searching for it, the answer is a bit clearer: it's a Kinect feature. Your PC does not have Kinect.
Also it seems to be a universally reviled feature, because the noise detection is completely off and any background noise in your flat will kill you. Intense experience, my ass...

its not just a connect feature, i didnt have a kinnect at the time and my headset mic worked for it

On consoles, if you use your mic the alien can hear you and find you.

unfortunately it wasnt implemented on PC :(

Yeah the Xbox can keep that stupid ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ gimmick to themselves. I am glad that ♥♥♥♥ isn't on pc.
