Tips for Controller?
I picked up Alien Isolation at Gamestop for PS3, and I've gotten to the part where you have to get comms to (I think his name was) Samuel

Any tips for the console versions of the game on Medium?

I always play using a controller myself, though as I don't tend to use the keyboard I wouldn't know how to advise about transitioning from that. I find everything quite intuitive, but one key thing to practice is pushing in the left stick to start the running motion. It works quite well as you don't have to hold it in, just push it once and then move and you'll run

I'm already used to the controls, i meant different ways to stay alive that might be easier with a controller than a KB/M setup, but thanks anyway.

I've played this game on both console and PC. Honestly, the mouse/keyboard set-up really doesn't make any difference in terms of your survival here, it all depends on what you're more comfortable using.

I will say, though, that the gamepad controls in this game are not very good. If you happen to own a CronusMax I made a script for it that gives the controls a much better (imo) layout. It also makes it so you don't have to hold the motion tracker button down, you can toggle it like crouch.

Other than that, not sure how to help. Just keep watching that motion tracker and stay crouched. I think I crouched through 80% of this game the first time, ha.

I'd probably do the same and crouch throughout most of the game, but i dont have the patience for that

I find the controller setup works well for me. There's no need to crouch too much - if you play well, it's about 25% running, 60% walking normally, 15% crouch-walking depending on where you are.
