Security Access Tuner Mission 15
Gamebreaker, that's all I can say. There simply is not enough time to enter this particular code with five symbols. Loved the game up to this point.

It's a security system to stop people tampering with Apollo's core. You're not supposed to attempt to hack it until you've disabled the two security systems.

Take a look in the two vent shafts in the Apollo core room. You can disable the security there, and you'll have enough time to hack the core.

Yep, it's deliberately impossible without doing at least one mini game in the nearby vents. If you try it a few times you get a prompt hinting that you have to lower Apollo's security capabilities

Apparently some maniac did hack it without disabling the security. I remember the thread from a while back.

Thank you all. I'm referring to the completion of the "Find Marlow" objective and just after the cut scene where the generator is activated and the only other thing left to do is use the security access tuner. I had already disabled the two security systems in the other vent shaft, unless I'm missing something...........
Mini-game? Could you be a little more specific? I just tried again and there are literally only a few seconds to enter the security code before an explosion occurs.

Oh I see. Well, try locking your FPS to 60, or reduce your graphics to minimum just for that part of the game and return them to normal afterwards. This has fixed the problem for people before.

What fixed it? Lowering your graphics or turning on V-Sync?

I would recommend locking your FPS to 60 for the rest of the game (and any future playthroughs). Letting it go any higher can break the scripting and cause problems like the one you're having.

Yeah probably just locking the FPS to 60 will work (with the V-Sync option).
