Nostromo Logs -- Possible to backtrack and collect them all?
So just noticed I missed the first of the Nostromo logs while attempting to avoid any android encounters. Given the nature of the game, I'm guessing I didn't screw up and can still go back to comms later in the game and collect the log then?

I believe (after?) Mission 16 is the best time to be able to backtrack and collect anything you missed, as you'll have all the tools available.

Ok, so long as I can also get back to comms I'll wait. It was a pain getting past all the androids without alerting any...would rather backtrack later with tools (and weapons if needed) vs having to go back to a previous save and do it 100% stealth again.

Mission 16 is indeed the best time to start log hunting (can be done right before starting mission 15 as well, but it's simpler during mission 16 because you start right next to the systech spire, which is the center of the station).

Best part of the game in my opinion is when you collect the final access tuner part - you have every tool in the game at this point - DO NOT go any further with the story (as in, do not take the shuttle ride to Marlow's ship), and from this point just go and explore the entirety of Sevastopol, enjoy being able to open every door that was blocked to you before, enjoy collecting every little secret... and the alien is with you the whole time, which is just extra awesome.

When you come back from the Anesidora (marlow's ship) you have all hacking tools maxed out and the gas mask. Its the best moment to go and explore everything.

You have them all just before you go to Marlow's ship, don't you? Before you can get on his ship you have to find a level 3 upgrade for the access tuner, and that's the final tool you find in the game. So you can go and explore Sevastopol before you go on Marlow's ship.

If you go exploring AFTER you've been on Marlow's ship, half of Sevastopol is on fire because Marlow's ship does serious damage to the station when it explodes.

The fire is never in places that prevent you from accessing anything. Both missions 15 and 16 are good for exploring, but I prefer mission 16 simply because it is a better way to manage your time.

Mission 15 is your last visit to the scimed tower, so if you go exploring during it you'll be forced to backtrack to it again later in order to make it to the Anesidora. Mission 16 starts at seegson communications, which is in the systech spire. That area not only includes one of the Nostromo logs, which you're looking for, but is also the central point of the station, so you'll be backtracking to it on your explorations several times anyway.
