The best way to deal with a Working Joe lying on the floor
I finished the game once on hard difficulty. In my preparation for getting the last 'One Shot' achievement I decided to read tips and tricks regarding the game AIs to reinforce my own experience. While reading them I noticed that no one mentioned the easiest way to deal with a Working Joe lying on the floor.

During my walkthrough I wanted to get a better look at Joe's grabbing animation and figured out that when you're staring at him lying on the floor he doesn't grab you. I mean, you could literally walk over him as long as you're staring at him along the way.

I'm not sure was it intentional or not, but it's kinda risk-rewardy design wise. While you're staring at lying Joe you can't look anywhere else, so it's harder to stealth through a room. I like this.

I found out that little trick around mission 9 or 10 I believe, when you're looking for some tube to fix an elevator (using the neutral joe in the warehouse to locate it). There's a joe on the floor somewhere in that mission, and I just gave it the stank-face the entire time I crawled over his face lol

Thank you! Still useful, exactly what I was looking for.

Working Joe's that are active on the floor will NOT grab you if you keep your sight on them when you walk away from them. They will only grab you if your camera is facing away when walking since they like to ambush you.
