Will Alien Isolation run on my Mac?
Hi eveyone. I was wondering if Alien Isolation would be playable on my mac.


OS X Yosemite
version 10.10.5

MacBook Pro (Retina, 13 inch, Early 2015)

Processor: 2.7 GHz Intel Core i5

Memory: 8 GB 1867 MHz DDR3

Graphics: Intel Iris Graphics 6100 1536 MB

Not true. I have a bunch of good games that run fine on my mac.

No games that are using modern high quality graphics engines are going to run on that MAC.

The graphics chip runs at 300Mhz which is about 1/3 of the speed of a four year old mid range Nvidia card. It only has just over 1 gig of memory too so will really struggle with loading textures. The memory bandwidth is just shy of 30 GB/s where most modern cards are around 200GB/s.

So I'm afraid your Mac is not going to be playing modern AAA games. If you want a game of this style that may work you could try Amnesia: The Dark Decent which is also a sneaky no combat horror game but on a much more basic graphics engine. Great game am the same though!
