The idea of the Xenomorph race is flawed

(Just as a reference to my religion, I am a Agnostic) While I do love the design of a Xenomorph, & what the writers can do to expand the universe of ALIENS, one thing I always thought of was how flawed biologically Xenomorphs are as a species, if there were a God (Which I do not believe the Biblical God) I would call him a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ for creating the Xenomorph, & yes, I have watched ALIEN: Covenent, & researched around Prometheus but never watched the film fully, so by their world, there probably isn't a God, but still, if any being with a brain created the Xenomorph, I would call them a ♥♥♥♥♥♥, one, their breeding is brutal, but it is very flawed, almost every species on Earth can breed & continue their race cause individually, they have a breeding organ on them, sure there is the wasp queen that implants their eggs within bugs, but atleast that's not how they do it 100% of the time, there are atleast drones within the kingdom that fertlize the queen for more drones, soldiers, & workers, Xenomorphs cannot breed, they are completely asexual, & only the queen can lay ovomorphs (The pods that contain stage 2 Xenomorphs AKA Facehuggers) but to me, that does not make sense as a design choise if something consciously made the xenomoprhs, so there is an egg, that doesn't hatch xenomorphs, but insteads hatches a Stage 2 Xenomorph which is already inconsistent enough, they jump onto another being, & impregnate it, hold up, why do you need all of this?! Why do you need an egg, to hatch a being, that only lives for like a day, & impregnates a host, if I was god, the ovomorph or stage 2 xenomorph should not exist, hell, I would do a complete overhaul over this creation & add in drones, that impregnate the queen, to which the queen can hatch xenomorphs from herself, like a real creature, how can they even breed on their own if they live alone on a planet?! & if they were in a ecosystem, god, that would be a trainwreck, they would be the most invasive species & end up leaving the whole planet extinct of breeding & food, & they would eventually die off, whenever I think of AVP, I always side with the Yautja PREDATORS, ♥♥♥♥ Xeno's, they are abomination of a species & I hope the Colonial Marines exterminates them all. This was my opinion, if you disagree then I can respectfully tell you I disagree with you back.

The facehugger exists to give the resulting xeno the traits to survive and thrive in its prey's environment. It takes the dna of the host and adds it to its own. Thats why the facehugger exists. Thats also why when a facehugger inpregnates a predator the resulting alien is alot bigger and stronger than human born aliens. Its also a lot bigger than the predator and will kill a predator with ease if it gets close enough.


Xenos arent supposed to be animals living in the wild, they are biological weapons meant to neutralized entire planets. Then they die out and whoever sent them takes over. They dont need to breed togethor because they have no need for evoloution and time spent breeding togethor could be time spent killing and kidnapping hosts for more xenos.

I've always thought that since I first saw alien. All those eggs in what looks like a drop bay, then considering their life cycle, they are obviously a weapon.

In all seriousness though, as the others have said, the xenomorph is a weaponized organism. As such, it has been engineered to kill its target species, not to create a stable population of happy xeno families.

We don't even know how much of the xeno, if any, was ever naturally occurring anywhere. It could be an entirely synthetic species. Even if there were some kind of 'creator' in the Alien mythos, the xenomorph very likely wouldn't count among one of its creations.

Yeah, I found the goo to be a weak and unnecessary plot device. Instead of expanding the Alien universe, Prometheus and Covenant have unduly pigeon-holed many of the best aspects of the mystery surrounding the xenomorphs. IMO, they are no less cheap knockoffs playing off the success of the original than the AVP series or the atrocious games that we had prior to Alien Isolation.

It's both ironic and sad that Ridley Scott himself chose to go in such a nonsensical direction with his own material. I mean he's even said that Alien and Bladerunner are in the same universe. Talk about pointless fan service; the guy should have just left his original material alone.

Agree with the above two posts. I hate that the prequels have made the alien a creation of a genocidal android who hates humans and wants to create the perfect exterminating machine.
