Why isn't Ash an android in the game? (Crew Expendable DLC)
I finally played the Crew Expendable DLC, and when you hit Ash with the maintance jack or burn him he just simply falls down like a placeholder copy of a civilian, what's the deal?

This DLC now seems super rushed. Can't this be patched in?

I mean simply make the character a basic Android, just give it a reskin (Ash skin), and let us have some fun by smashing his face in and see him puke white liquid everywhere.

I'm disappoint.

Ash was never intended to be damaged / burned in the DLC.

Where this DLC is in terms of the movie's timeline, Was before Ripley realised he was an Android IIRC.

Plus as above, He is a more human-like model android compared to the working Joe's.

If I remember right from the movie, Ash definitely bleeds closer to the Working Joes than he does relative to any human.

Indeed, Working Joes are basically made with Ash in mind, they even do references to Ash character (like doing the running man).

They just went lazy with this DLC and put his voice and skin on a model and ignored everything else. Ash don't even do his own iconic running man animation.

It wasn't the original actors voice.
Also the DLC wasn't meant to be anything to do with Ash... it is about the Alien.

They couldn't get the guy who played Ash to do the voice work (I think he was sick or something). So they cast a soundalike and just basically made him a Working Joe.
