Should I get this or Aliens: Colonial Marines?

For a while, I've been tossing up wether to get Aliens: Colonial Marines or Alien: Isolation. Is anyone able to help me make a decision?

But even if you like to kill everything fps like I wouldn't recommend colonial marines!
If you want to throw your money away buy it!

I would buy alien isolation because it is by miles and without any concurrent the best game of the alien franchise ever!

ACM got a mod which will improve the alien AI. Never got the chance to try it, but it got high praise in the workshop.
But for a pure scare play, you should go for Isolation.

Get this. This ia an AAA game. Colonial Marines is an F game. If you want an Alien/s FPS get Aliens VS Predator from 5-6 yrs ago. That game is suprisingly fun, tight controls, and 3 very different very distinct campaigns that all weave together in the end.

Isolation is one of the best games of all time. Truly a masterpiece. The love the devs put into every detail of the game really shows.

On the other hand, Colonial Marines is a lazy cash-in and an afterthought by Gearbox.

The choice is easy. Go with Isolation.

Colonial Marines is a generic first-person shooter.

Isolation is one of the best games of all time.

Colonial Marines has been in development for three thousand years and isn't up to par with Alien: Isolation.

Well, after weighing your comments, and those made on a similar post I created in the Steam forums of Colonial Marines, reading online reviews, and watching gameplay videos, I, and this may surprise you, have chosen to go with Colonial Marines. Why, you ask? One friend said to me through a PM on Discord that: "I would ask myself, which film did I like better, Alien, or Aliens? If you liked Alien more, get Isolation. If you liked Aliens more, get Colonial Marines." Aliens is my favorite film in the franchise (although Alien: Covenant may take that position), and I like being able to defend myself in games, and from what I've heard, there's not much you can do to do that in Isolation. Add to that the game's extreme difficulty, and I have chosen Aliens: Colonial Marines.

Well, you bought the garbage game. Even as far as shooters go, A:CM is sub par. Also, you can defend yourself in Isolation. You can't kill the Xenomorph, but you can make it retreat in various ways. The other enemies are all killable.

That Aliens is one of the best movies of all time doesn't make Colonial Marines any better.

Moreover, that kind of gameplay has already been done to death. Colonial Marines offers nothing that wasn't already in AvP, AvP2 or AvP 2010. Isolation, on the other hand, is a fresh experience.

But my nostalgia from AvP 2 is huge....it was awsome back then - definitivly close to A:I

my face when i played the game first (without knowing alien movies nor predator movies) and then watched the movies: O_O
