okay who hates working joes?

ok so when i was playing i knew there were gonna be androids and i knew they were hard to kill, but oh my GOD THEY ARE THE WORST. i was always afraid to attack them. i knew the shotgun was the easiest way to dispose of them but it attracts the alien, or aliens.i thought i hated facehuggers when i first found them but they get easier later on if your having trouble with them. i would always use the stun batton then just beat the liquid out of them with the jack. but when bunny suit ones showed up i couldn't do any thing i just would shoot them and run to a locker.they are the worst. any help for them before i go into hard?

i tried using the jack but most of the time they would just grab it and they're immune to fire.

I love em. It's like fighting a terminator. Then they get easy to kill with the baton+EMP, but they get EM shielded suits. Awesome! In that first encounter with them you can use the environment to damage/kill them. But I also used up my pipe bombs. Later you get a bolt gun that can 1 shot them, making them trivial again.

You get a new weapon to deal with the hazard suit androids, before that run through them, shotgun or use bombs. In the reactor level, where you have no weapons there is an area that can be set under electricity.

well yea the concept is cool like you said its like fight a terminator but when you meet them in that big communications room i was terrified. i was hiding under them the whole time. i had to restart the game because i suck and i lost almost all of my health. also i never found the pipe bomb. where was it?

It was in the med bay somewhere. It one shots normal Joes in an small AOE but not EM suit Joes, the EM suit is also an EOD without looking like one apparently. Maybe Lv2 can one shot but I think I only got mine to Lv1. The pipe bomb also scares off the Xeno like the molotov does.

I never killed them inless I was forced to, I found the best method of getting around them was a single shot from my handgun, it causes them to stagger enough to get pass them. The trick is to get as close as you can before you fire.

When possible I hide rather than trying to kill them. Pipe bomb is useful against them

Working Joes are the easiest enemy to deal with in the game. Especially the "bunny suit" (lol) ones. How do you deal with them? Just walk away. They're too slow to catch up to you in your walking speed.

"Bunny suit" Joes can be killed with a charged direct hit to the neck/head with the bolt gun, and because of their slowness, you can easily outrun them by walking. Regular working joes are simple. Shoot them in the head a couple times with revolver and then beat the ♥♥♥♥ out of em, stun baton em and then beat the ♥♥♥♥ out of em, shotgun em in the face until they die, or use EMP mines, which will disable them. You can also do quite a bit of damage to them when they don't notice you. If you sneak attack em, you can land at max 3 hits with the maintanence jack. Also, at the first time you encounter them and you're trying to run to the elevator, make sure to walk slower and make sure not to go below ANY vents. NEVER hide from them using the lockers if they've noticed you, because the only way to evade them at that point is to run until they forget you're there. Also, at the one point where you only see a "bunny suit" working joe and the alien, that part is a bit tricky, but you can get through it by walking to escape the working joe, and to avoid attracting the alien. And always make sure to keep as much distance from a working joe as possible. Also, you know those working joes that you think are dead and grab you by the leg? Well, there's an easy way to avoid them. If you see a working joe dead body, check to make sure if its eyes are glowing or not, if the working joe is dead, its eyes will NOT be glowing, if it's not dead, it will have glowing eyes. When this happens, you can simply pull out your revolver and shoot em right in the head. It should die instantly. Also, make sure not that the Working Joe you're dealing with, IS or is NOT hostile. If it's walking towards you, it doesn't always mean it is angry. If it's attempting to kill you and is walking towards you, it will have red eyes. Also, fire doesn't work that well on them. Now, it DOES weaken them up a bit, but it won't hurt them much.
