Level 6 Lights Out (Bug)

Played on purgatory and got to level 6 Lights Out and picked the correct entity door. I landed in what I assume is hay and all I got was a long hallway leading into a red death square drop with an opening above it where I can see the rest of the final part of the level. Was this a level generation error? Couldn't find any other way but down and starting over...
