Is there Sanity in this game?

I played Escape the Backrooms with a friend of mine and it was a lot of fun. However, one thing I didn't like was the sanity meter. In some levels you had to be fast or find almond water around in order to survive. Do you also have to manage the sanity here or you can take it more "slowly"? Cheers

levels without entitys doesnt lower sanity. in fact it makes it better

nah, some levels dont have monsters like the pool room level. so you dont need almond water and can take your sweet time. and sanity isnt quick, its slow.
