It’s suppose to imbalanced, it’s an april fools day joke.
1) not sure why you complain about me making "another post". As far as i'm concerned, i'm allowed to make posts if i want to.
2) At no point, i said this game was unfair, or about the game balance. So idk why you are saying that the game mode is "supposed to be imbalanced" like a complaint to my post.
---------------
Anyway, few more suggestions about the gamemode:
- when someone is victim of jester token hangman during discussion phase, the discussion phase immediately end, and voting phase start immediately. This can screw players in endgame if they want to gamble, because players with voting power will likely win. IMO, hangman shouldnt change / remove the timer for discussion phase.
- i already mentioned making more notifications visible. For voting power notifications, the game should tell you in advance your current voting power after a change (ex: you now have 2 voting power / you now have -3 voting power), and not wait until you try to vote (or it might be too late to vote whoever you want)
- i feel for effects that changes the number of trials, it should be a global notification the moment the number change. Very few players will pay attention to the normal "there are # posisble trials remaining today" message when voting phase start.
- for coven and NA, it is currently harder for them to notice if one of their teammate is revealed by jester token. So i think make role reveal a global notification (like "player name" had their role revealed!")
- i'm personally fine with "night party" and "revive" effects to be hidden as a surprise element. Speaking of revive, i'm curious aboàut the interactions with an amne (ex: jailor die n1, amne remember jailor, and original jailor get revived later, if it's even possible). I think revive choose a random target, including any evil, so might be tedious to test.
- i think the stalemate is way too strict and currently doesnt count any voting power. If it's a 1 "normal" coven (1 vote) vs 1 town (2 votes + defence), game immediately draw, even though town can win.
A bit of extra RNG was enough to remove the stale meta of a gamemode that's supposed to feel random.
also who gives a toss if its balanced or not. i just had a game were 6 people got revealed, being a mon, bg, crusader, 2 cov, and a apoc. i also got -3 votes. it was epic and the whole town was loling all game
