Potential Bug: Game continues after pirate leaves town with one player remaining

I was playing as War. After pirate won by hanging their last target and left town, I was the only player alive. Instead of the game automatically ending and triggering the apocalypse cutscene, it continued onto the next night. The game ended the next day.

This is my first time reporting a bug so apologies if this is the wrong place

I had the same interaction as Pirate myself.
I left the town after hanging my last Landlubber a Berserker.
Game continued with 3 Town People left.
Next morning game was won by Town.
