Cursed scrolls not worth the price

Hear me out on this one, yeah? Both types of scroll cost 5 TP each, but cursed scrolls are consumed every single game regardless of if they actually did something. If you have three roles you really, REALLY hate and want to try to scroll out of then it effectively costs 15TP to try to NOT get those roles. At one point I had three blessed scroll and one one cursed coroner scroll and STILL got coroner, which felt super bad, but at least the scroll WASN'T consumed.

May I suggest that cursed scrolls either be sold in five-packs, or even just jack up the price to the level of buying a character and make them a permanent option once bought? As it stands they're really just not worth it, and I'd be very willing to buy 1000TP if it meant I'd have the option to quasi-permanently lower my odds of getting Illusionist again. Seriously, that role loves me.

Cursed scrolls come in sets of 3, so it costs 15 tp to get 3 scrolls for 3 roles you don't want to play, so 5 tp per game to have 3 scrolls.

They reduce your lots from 10 to 1, so it is still possible to get the role, just like Blessed scrolls increase your lots from 10 to 100, so it still possible to not get the role.

Does it really consume the scroll even if the role is not in the list? Seems like design flaw. I thought both scrolls only applied if the role was available, but that both had a chance to fail regardless

please offer more for that value, they burnt fast and I had like 30 each 3 slots

They don't burn if the role is not possible.

Cursed scrolls should burn after hitting that role and after rerrolling effect...

burned because you used a rerroll...

Got it, role assingment on spots.... fixed role spot is just fixed, you can't rerroll it on role list.... mmm hard change for real

Yeah, problem is, how can you add rerroll 'easy' in that environment.... Because 5 coins seems worth cost/reward for x1 rerroll...

I'd still just be willing to pay the same price for a character just to have a permanent version to use in a cursed slot. I mean, it's like buying over 600 scrolls at once, but I can't imagine I'm alone in thinking that that would be a worthy price to pay.

It's even probably a good thought on the other side of things, how many people would be buying TP just to get a set of permanent curse scrolls to reduce the odds of their most hated roles? coughCoronercoughIllusionistcough

Lemme put this slightly differently: I'm willing to throw money at you guys to not have to keep re-buying those things. I can't think I'm alone in that, even if it's roles that only pop up in All Any or Customs.

I stopped buying cursed scrolls for this reason. Having them burn even though you didn't roll those roles is a waste of 5 TP. Especially since (right now) you can just leave if you get a bad roll. And while i'm on the same tangent, blessed scroll chances should be improved. Equipping a scroll and not having it popped in 20 matches, smh
