All any isn't really that different from classic imo. It's a bit more chaotic yes, but usually you have the same basis. Town, Coven and cultists(being pestilence/berserker/doomsayer). Sometimes random NEs like Serial Killer or Executioner are thrown in but, it's still pretty easy to wrap your head around.
The biggest trouble a newcomer faces is imo, learning the roles, what they do, and how to play around them. For example knowing when the werewolf attacks, or how arsonists can visit without killing.
That being said once you play enough to see most roles you catch on fairly quickly, the way the roles are designed is simple enough without being too complicated. Sure people will get upset if you don't play your role properly at times, but there's usually at least a couple of people a lobby messing around. Don't take it personally, just remember what the role does and keep going.
and to the guy that said claiming shroud is strategy thank you for telling me that because now im going to think who ever claims evil roles are evil roles and i will vote them and try and convince everyone to vote, and then if thats true that you are evil. aka shroud reported for gamethrow
