Bodyguard not working

So basically what happened? I, a Bodyguard, protected a Trickster. The Trickster died. Okay how could that've happened? trickster tricked a person. we lynched them, they were a cleric. at the middle of the match we found out that coven killing was the coven leader. Why didn't I attack the coven leader?

Ever since the update there is glitches and odd things, whoever did the update needs to fix this.

Illusionist can help coven killing bypass bodyguard.

By look at this, the Illusionist saved you as it allows bypassing BG and Trapper

Already mentioned, the Illusionist can shield the Coven killing from triggers traps and Bodyguard attacks. That's likely what happened as your screenshots do show an Illusionist alive during the attack.

I just had a round where exactly the same thing triggered and there was no Dreamweaver in the lobby.
