In a lot of games, it's very unlikely a spy will ever find anything useful.
Consider a game with Coven Leader, Wildling, Conjurer and Necromancer. NKs are serial killer and jester. What can a spy even find that's useful, other than confirming that someone was "attacked and healed" or something?
"Your target was attacked but has high Defense" would be a useful info in your example. And also many TIs are useless in such specific setups. Illusionist and Enchanter counter most of TIs but Spy is the best counterpart here.
Your example has no Coven Deception roles in it so of course TIs have a good game here. I think Spy was made a bit to counter Coven Deception roles.
Maybe bring back Spy being able to see Coven chat, or whispers.
This Spy only focuses on Coven tho. With that many new evil roles, I think the Spy we have now is in an actual pretty good spot since besides Seer(which is overpowered in general), and Psychic its the only TI who can find basically any evildoer + it is the best Anti-Coven-Deception role.
Id rather buff Sheriff who, right now, can only find Neutral Evils and 3 out of 4 Coven.
