Differences between Skin and Character?

Skins are alternate arts of characters.

Ah, ok, I gave a closer look, so they just change your appearance, just that if you want a specific skin, you need the specific character? Selecting another character changes nothing?

That is correct. To use a skin you need to own the character first.

Does anyone know who the Black Widow skin character is? I spent the coins I earned to unlock the Black Widow skin but I cannot figure out how to apply it.

Its the blonde girl at the top right of the character select screen, click on her and itll let u pick the black widow skin

Trial and error by picking the characters that may resemble the skin. Example, I assume the Famine skin is for the character with the picnic basket and I don't have Famine to verify.

A bit of research or asking if one interests you, I guess. If you ask which character for a specific skin, someone who owns the skin will be able to let you know if you need a specific character.

The problem is you can't pick the fancy skin you bought cause some f2p used one of their keys to pick the debbie default version. Makes no sense since they have different names and appearances.

yeah, very annoying feature and im surprised the devs are still holding onto it when almost everyone here hates it being a thing
