Hey everyone!

The launch is going crazy, thank you so much!

Here are some know issues that we have ran into.

Mentions breaking: Sometimes you will things like [[:25]] in the chat. If you get this if you go into your chat settings and adjust some of those settings, even if its just disabling and reenabling it, it should fix this.

RemoteConnectionClosed: If this happens to you be sure to not close the game, open the settings menu, grab your player logs, and send them here! Some users have found that disabling v-sync fixes this.

Our devs are working through several bugs with our community over on our public discord. Feel free to join and make a bug report and they will be sure to get back to you! i keep getting the RemoteConnectionClosed error and i already tried turning off vsync and it did nothing, any idea if we are getting a hotfix for it soon?

Clicked login after first opening the game. Menu froze and eventually crashed. Did it a second time and selected login automatically. now it freezes every time I open the game. no chance to open settings or anything. I tried validating files and it says its missing 1 file every time no matter how many times i download it. Uninstalling and reinstalling doesnt seem to work either. Cant wait to play the game when it gets fixed!!

Update. I tried deleting the games folder from my steam folder. said it couldnt be deleted because the application was running. went into task manager and saw that there is a task running for each time i tried running the game. tasks cannot be ended so game is just always running now and files cant be deleted. dont know what to do now.

It is a mac M1 issue. We are investigating it. Please hold onto that money for now. :D

That is really troublesome. This happens every time you open the game? Before logging in even?

Had an issue just happen recently where the "deputy animation" kept playing over and over, resulting in that game becoming unplayable and us having to leave the game. The day timer did not progress and it was the same person being shot over and over by the same deputy. During the day, a deputy took a shot and killed a coven member, and chat played out for a little bit, before the animation started to play again and again, stopping the game from progressing. Notably, the coven player who was shot disconnected from the game (after the first deputy shot) just before the animation started to play again and again. GrimGuy20 was my account name for that game and it about 10 minutes prior to my posting this.

Is following problem known?:

If the lobby (in All Any) is full, and the timer starts, and if then a person leaves, nobody will join that lobby. It will stay forever at 14.

It seems like, that other lobbies are filling up first and our lobby has been pushed to the end of the list.

Please fix it, so other people can join an almost full lobby.

Hey there, I have the issue where when I try to enter into a game, I get disconnected by the following error (Unity playback engine has stopped working) after this shows up upon the game freezing (Town of Salem 2 - Unity 2021.3. 10f1_1c7d0df160b). What should I do?

an issue I found is as jailor sometimes the gui for selecting someone to jail bugs out and you will have 2 selected to jail or it will look like you have no one selected but if you check the chat you can see you do have someone selected, so the gui doesnt match reality

yep. im gonna try it again today to see if itll work. also didnt try restarting my computer to force shut any running games. will try that also if its not working.

What about the game crashing right after names and the unity thing popping up? Is that being fixed because I've reported this several times and I haven't received any word on this...

I saw 2 vigi mis-shoot a townie on the same target, and only one of them was killed by the hangman once the dead people animation finished. The second hangman execution only came later on after someone was put on the stand and innoed. I wonder if he would've die at all if there was no trial that day or if the trial was a guilty verdict, either way i assume they should've both die at the same time.
