Best food resource (what do you guys think?)

For me it seems like the best is still the same old bread at top

1) Bread
Most bang for buck despite requiring a whole chain of processing from wheat -> flour -> bread. A lot of output as the wheat to flour process multiplies its resource which then 1 flour multiplies to even more bread.



2) Apples
Best when place near granary, able to harvest multiple runs per cycle, resulting in high output as long as the distance to granary is near. Fast harvest rate as well. Only can is the largest space required as well as green pastures only.



3) Meat
Space saver, doesn't require valley grass land. Downside is how far the game is and the literal travel distance. Although if I can spam like 50 hunter's hut it is still relatively ok.



4) Cheese
Worst in terms of food output, slow harvest, least output. Doesn't require grass land though (I start playing crusaders before any other stronghold, so it came as a shocker because in crusader's cows can only be placed on green pastures and not yellow grass/sand).

Only reason to be getting this is lack of green pastures for wheat/apple and for tanners to produce leather for mid-tier troops.
