this is way too complicated... I didn't like the initial timed-scenarios/timed-servers system to begin with, as many other players too. it was enough pressure on the dates and timers and progression etc. and now even this post is hard to digest, it's like overly complex, and all of this is also on timers, like pre-registration to get into a scenario then you have to be in the precise 24 hours to get IN it actually, and you still have a timed scenario... oh c'mon, people have lives...

I'll double this: ADD PERSISTENT SERVERS (and just make them different, make seasons and updates affecting persistent servers)... this is so much bs and pressure. in a game...

and I have to say I like the game itself very much.. but I hate the timers.

I hate it as much as everyone else but the answer is pretty simple. There just not enough content to justify perm-ability. Every game with timers/seasons/battlepasses are designed to last only as content make it relevant. Overall my biggest fear is if they do listen, and content would not be an option to add, they just make resource gathering cap at like 5% making the game 20 times longer to reach the end.
It's like someone saw the ffxiv housing system and thought it would be a great way to run an entire game...

yeah, I get it too. but honestly just leveling up (even if it's relatively fast) EVERY time again, while there's new content - it's not all new anyway if, say, you're constantly playing PvE scenarios, and there's a lot of the same repetition every time - it will get dull for many players too. it's also tedious and demotivating sometimes, especially after a few times, and the content doesn't change enough, I think to justify every wipe and re-leveling.

and yeah ofc battlepasses make it kinda more lively and interesting, make it look like it's living and changing and there's always something to do and all. but tbh they're way too expensive anyway as a battlepass, they're still repetitive. and they still do enough new content for now and it can just be implemented on the perm servers. also the existence of perm servers doesnt mean timed scenarios should necessarily disappear really. PvP servers can be timed for example, to adjust for rebalances, changes of deviations and to be able to re-balance things more often and fix the broken builds etc etc.
it's the PvE players who most often ask for permanent solutions anyway.

and reaching endgame slower isn't such a bad thing, honestly right now it's way too fast and easy anyways, if you don't play every day, you end up skipping tons of content anyway, lots of quests and all. it's a shame. also many good games have good mechanics to balance that, like rebirth mechanics or just increasing level cap regularly or other things
Seriously, if you need to explain it with a big flow chart, it's too complicated.
Back to Manibus! ;-)
This seems overly convoluted. So many steps.. still confusing.

So many lootcrates, yet the servers still continue to lag and skip.

Building is still not working right, as there are misalignments with larger structures. Cannot build large farms in eternaland (try building a 20x20 farm setup with 16 UV lights all connected to run in sync.... You will get a hell of a rave party.) those lights will flicker with rhythm.

WoW was a very empty and annoying season. making me actually look forward to other games, like Warframe, to go back to.

Already did 2 tours in Manibus. I dont do PvP, so the 2 pvp scenarios are out.

This game is like an Ad for a really nice juicy burger at G. Ramseys BURGR, But what you get is a random towns generic fast food burger. The game Looks visually amazing. Really wicked details in all sorts of places. There are a lot of interesting things within the game. This game is free! ........... But.. Then you take a bite of what you think you got. and its empty. The beef is just store bought wal-mart cheap beef, the bread is stale and hardened, the lettuce has browned, and the tomato has all squished off the thing. Why do some random side nps have full voice work, yet others dont? Why have memetics in a scenario that do us little to no good (red plasma missles)? So many mis-spellings, and reused items.

I can go on.. but the one bit I will give this game... its a great farming sim for plots under 75 in count size.
想不到才幾個月就已經開始走向併服之路了。

They made enough money, if this game dies they wont give a damn. The rest of you clowns still playing are just along for the ride. You're just there for the whales to have people to flex on with their overpriced skins.

Still not a huge fan of how the system is set up if you want to just stay in Manibus scenarios. This seems all well and good for the PvP scenarios, though.
Yeah, lets do it even more complicated for people to actually play. Like wtf.
I played about 50 hours when the game first launched and enjoyed every moment of it... Upon logging in on the new scenario I noticed I had none of my blueprints, gear, materials, starchrom, cosmetics I unlocked, or anything for that matter which was promised that I would be able to carry over upon start of the new scenario. Basically got a wiped account and had to start over.... that really killed the appeal to play the game for me as having to grind out all the blueprints again and upgrade them as far as I did again is just a big kick in the balls. Hit up support in the discord and I was told a team was working on it and then I asked "so when will I have the blueprints, starchrom, and everything else I'm missing back?" I was told they weren't sure and to watch the future patch notes as that is when I would find out the issue had been fixed. Yet here I am still with nothing and I just don't really wanna spend another 50 hours just to get back to where I was especially when I should be a lot further along. Really makes me sad but oh well just thought I'd vent my frustrations here.
