Suggestion to Expand Building Structures, Furniture & Deco Limits
Hey Once Human Devs and fellow players,

I’ve got a suggestion that I think would greatly enhance our in-game creativity and base-building experience. Right now, the limits on building structures, furniture, decor, and functional facilities—especially the furniture & decor and functional facilities capped at 250 units—are really restricting. These caps limit our ability to fully express creativity in designing our bases and homes.

Additionally, we need more storage slots available for Hive members, not just the Hive leader. Having shared storage for all Hive members would be a game-changer and encourage better teamwork.

It would be fantastic if we could see an increase in these caps, giving us more freedom to build and decorate, and making sure everyone in the Hive has enough space to store their stuff.

Looking forward to hearing thoughts from the community and the devs on this!

Thanks!

The servers are are already creaking, travelling through a populated area causes lag to spike through the roof. Whether it's deviations/active turrets or the size of players bases I don't know. The only restriction I've found to be annoying is counting electricity connectors as part of the limit. As someone who likes to manage cables so I can keep them visually turned on, I've found I quickly max the limit and have to severely compromise between tidy cables and number of facilities in my base.

I can't agree more about the electricity connectors! It's frustrating how quickly you hit the limit, especially when you're trying to keep things neat and organized. It feels like you're forced to choose between aesthetics and functionality, which really takes away from the base-building experience. Having to compromise on the number of facilities just to keep the cables tidy really limits creativity. They should consider giving more flexibility with electricity connectors or maybe even add a separate limit just for wiring. It'd make the gameplay much more enjoyable and less restrictive.

100% I don't see why they're counted towards the limit at all but yes a separate limit for wiring sounds like a good idea. They could even get rid of the connectors completely and just have it so when you're in wiring mode one appears depending on where you click i.e wall, ceiling or floor. Rust has mastered the wiring and piping system but then it's a WAY more established game. Hopefully when the devs re-work the plumbing mechanics (as they have said they are doing) they will consider revisiting the electricity too.

I would honestly love to see the building limit increased for all areas, I understand it could cause some lag issues, but still would love to be given the chance. I had started building myself a small castle, only to not be able to complete it because of the limit.

You can build whatever you want in Eternaland. "Some lag issues" is a bit of an understatement. The game becomes almost unplayable when there are several huge player built bases in the same area.

Am sure other power gamers are doing same.

Just create another account on epic game store and make another toon to use as hive or whatever and build next to your original crib as a form of expansion.
