I can't agree more about the electricity connectors! It's frustrating how quickly you hit the limit, especially when you're trying to keep things neat and organized. It feels like you're forced to choose between aesthetics and functionality, which really takes away from the base-building experience. Having to compromise on the number of facilities just to keep the cables tidy really limits creativity. They should consider giving more flexibility with electricity connectors or maybe even add a separate limit just for wiring. It'd make the gameplay much more enjoyable and less restrictive.
100% I don't see why they're counted towards the limit at all but yes a separate limit for wiring sounds like a good idea. They could even get rid of the connectors completely and just have it so when you're in wiring mode one appears depending on where you click i.e wall, ceiling or floor. Rust has mastered the wiring and piping system but then it's a WAY more established game. Hopefully when the devs re-work the plumbing mechanics (as they have said they are doing) they will consider revisiting the electricity too.
You can build whatever you want in Eternaland. "Some lag issues" is a bit of an understatement. The game becomes almost unplayable when there are several huge player built bases in the same area.
Just create another account on epic game store and make another toon to use as hive or whatever and build next to your original crib as a form of expansion.
