Where is my character

So I started playing this game yesterday, and enjoyed the experience. I played for several hours, and couldn't see a 'save game' button, so closed the game out. Launched the game this morning, and have no idea where my server is, also I cannot start up on any sever as I just get a server disconnect message? Is this normal? Can anyone help please?

In the main menu click on the server at the top of the menu. It should say "You already created a character" on the left hand side. Click on it and it should display the server your character is on to the right hand side. Then click confirm. The character is server locked so you can't just load ANY server, it has to be the one you started playing on. If that doesn't work try "Repair Client" from the main menu. Good luck

So I looked at that, but there is no server, it just says Select a server. Was there an option to save the game when finished playing? Also in the server list it says, Account Character count 0/10? Also, under Enter Game, it says Eternaland Locked, and those two words are greyed out!

No it automatically saves your progress. Might be a visual bug the 0/10...have you tried verifying the install files in Steam? There's been a hotfix recently after the main update.

No, haven't tried that, the thing is though I cannot even start a new character, every time I try it times out saying, "network disconnected, please try again". Sorry to be a pain, but how do I verify files?

Right click on Once Human in Steam library --> Properties --> Installed Files --> Verify Integrity of Files.

No probs....hope you get it sorted. I usually verify the installed files every time a major update drops anyway as the download in Steam often gets corrupted and will be missing files. Once Human updates separately too once you're done on Steam so it may trigger the game to get you fully up to date once you run it after verify in Steam.

Edit: I've had the bug before where my character disappeared but it eventually recognizes it and you get back into the server you were on.

Well this is really weird. I verified all the files, I still cannot see a single character, plus I cannot start a new game, as it keeps timing out saying " network disconnected please try again".

Wow, finally solved it, my VPN was the problem, once I turned it off I was able to launch the game and get into my character. So once again, thanks a lot for your help, appreciate it.

I'm not sure whether you are trying to be funny, or sarcastic, either way, you're not. My Mother died several years ago, and I am a disabled veteran, who happens to own a £2500 PC, that can play any game out there easily!
