Needs Separate oil pumps/or to be able to change it

So I put my base on the river away from the oil fields in red sands, and up until the last update, my pumps were pulling up water. i mean i am on the river. But i hopped on the game today and they are all pulling up Oil. I figured I would test it again, and created a new water pump right in the water, and still pulls up oil and no water what-so-ever. Anyone else noticing this.

Yeah, all my waterpumps only get oil now. I only wish this would happen in real life.

So now they are getting both oil and dirty water, so i guess that is a win. but i also notice that the brewing barrels don't work for acid anymore while i'm offline. Like i should be swimming in the stuff, but when i come back from a long day of work I only have like 10-30.

Yep. They need to iron out how the pumps work. I had a base at the start of this season where I had like 6 pumps in a line. 5 pumps gave oil and the one at the end gave oil and water. Nothing about how they work makes sense.

Preferably the game would just tell us what a pump will produce when you're in placement mode. While they're at it they should make the ore detector also work for oil too.

The funny part isi have my Base now for 4 weeks at the same spot for 4 Weeks my Pumps on Land make Oil and my Pumps inside the river give me Dirty Water now the Pump inside the river give me even oil and i dont move them in the entire time,So not sure why they now start after 4 Weeks without Moving to give me Oil and i place yesterday 6 more Pumps in differnd place in the River and all give me Oil so seams that is not a water River but an oil River :)

yeah its annoying, i wish they just have a simple toggle management to "Ignore Oil/Polluted Water" instead. don't think it's that hard for them to implement it
