After merge my PVE Hard Server become PVP what WTF is happening?

after a long weekend of work done i hope in back to once human and to see what the merge is doing but to just find that my PVE Hard Server become PVP Server some player killed me while doing the bloodmoon event this is my 1st staying late to a server is this normal or the server should stay PVE and not turn to PVP one

Could it have been a clone of another player during Lunar they can pop now .

Bloodmoons now also spawn red phantoms (NPC versions of players on the server that also use their gear). Either that or you were in range of the pvp truck event.

Yeah, if you were killed in a settlement while running around killing deviations and looting Lunar Oracle chests what killed you probably wasn't another player but one of those player clones they introduced with the new Lunar Oracle phase. Ran into one, too. Used up a good half of my 15 adrenaline shots I was carrying. Didn't manage to get him any lower than around 50% of his health. Pesky bugger. Have stoppd going to settlements during bloodmoon since.

The Lone wolf and mini wonder are a good way to deal with the Lunar spawns. I prefer to wolf since it helps do damage. Even if you don't want to kill it, it can give you time to get away

Yeah, my Butterfly did some nice damage, too, I just couldn't get into a position where I could fire at that phantom thing without dying within, like, ten seconds. *lol* Might give it another go with either the Gel or the Wolf. The Lunar version of the Gel is really nice.

I personally like using the explosive pistol on top of mini wonder, those red phantoms are basically stunlocked as they go down, it's nice.

The spectral event is extremely dumb and was planned poorly. I was helping a friend during lunacy and I saw literally 8 players trying to take down a level 9 spectral just to get wiped in dayton wetland.

everyone gets the regular loot but only the person that dealt the final blow gets leaderboard contribution.

You need around 120k + DPS (without Dino) to kill them before they can heal. Use Lonewolf Whisper to keep them busy even if you use KVD Boom Boom then unload your Boom Boom on him. This is where most casual Boom Boom builds fail because of reliance on Pyro Dino. If you build a proper Burn Boom Boom you should have no problem killing them before they can heal, your Burn should do 20k+ tick * 2 (BBQ Gloves) per second. Use Treacherous Tide set because the bonus dmg is much higher than Blackstone or Shelterer, do not use Coneflower when making Whimsical Drink.

Lil bro learned about Spectrals the hard way and instantly thought it miraculously changed to PvP (there's no Lunar PvP, btw lil dude lol).
