I really want to play Once Human but

I don't like the Lunacy mechanic where you only have 10% of your health every night and cant get rid of your insanity. I don't know what I'm doing wrong or how to counter it other than only go out in day, and I haven't been strong enough to kill the things blocking the lunacy chests. I just don't like the mechanic but my character is there on that server... anyway... when does it end? or what do i do?

IT was fun at first but becomes annoying and a waste of time as you run it multiple times.

Lunacy happens every night, you CAN mitigate the effects with high tier armour. higher sanity loss = higher rewards. If rewards is not your thing and you just want to live, slap down a brewing barrel and drop in some corn or wheat to make (you guessed it) corn or malt ales... Drinking one before 9pm will COMPLETELY negate the effects of lunacy as far as sanity loss goes.

So long as it is drunk anywhere between 3pm and 9pm, you'll be covered for the night.

Of course, this doesn't stop mobs spawning or them detecting you half a click out so farming XP won't change.

Increasing survivability is also achievable at a beach party (at least on manibus) our server goes to 1 particular teleportation tower on world 1 and the level 50's collect water... This spawns level 50 mobs who in turn, get melted by all the level <50 players - done as a team, the water collector will also get XP and drops.

I've seen level 2's show up at a party and walk away at the end of the night as a level 26... a few more beach parties and they hit level 50 in one play session. Once phase 2 hits and you can transfer the materials for an advanced gear bench, and you can make a tier 5 sniper rifle within an hour of phase 2 dropping. With that, hit the high level area's, kill before it reaches you, walk in and loot, go home, scrap, make tier 5 armour for yourself.

you can buy the exit scenario card to transfer to any server anytime you want. Lunar oracle and winter map are not meant for new players. I suggest you to go to normal Manibus and permanent server is available now, you can stay in any server as long as u want.

sorry just chiming in since im trying to look for answers too, but i am trying to go to a normal server as i had only play once but i am only able to join the lunar ones i had bought a exit card , but i am not seeing regular servers

You improve your toon and strategy, to finally overcome every obstacles in lunar mode.
It's very easy once you know how to deal with the problems. But it will take some times and effort.
If you don't find it fun, you can try something else, or another games.

Coneflower is cheap, available everywhere and the recipe for the drink is very low on the memetic trees. There is literally no excuse that you can't handle lunar phase. But if even coneflower fruit tea is not good enough for you, there is still the 4th solution:

You can also craft a lunacy shot that removes the lunacy effect. Theres also the other shot that gives you the lunacy effect back as well.

Adding to this there are also specific armor set you could use it reduces damage taken when your sanity level is <= 30%

Fruit Tea made with Coneflower keeps your sanity high. Makes Lunar a breeze. It was already easy but with Coneflower Fruit Tea it's a cakewalk.
Though, I will admit it is much nicer not dying in .5 seconds if you run across a Lunar Meta.

Lunacy Suppressant, Coneflower Fruit Tea, Malt/corn ale- roam with Lonewolf's Whisper if you're getting creamed by mimics, and you'll never have a problem again.

well some can oneshot player if they aren't aware of them. some high lvl are insane equip, it's seem someone had fun by die on purpose with a specific build, i've found a ghost that was impossible to kill with all the barrier he was stacking each time and the hp regen with item he got.

Lunaspawn is not very smart, deploy the lonewolf whisper or the shattered maiden and you will have a big advantage. If more people joined the fight it'll be very easy, since Lunaspawn won't change target often.

The game now notifies you when lunaspawn appears, so it's much easier than before.

If u are new ask if ppl have spare beer to give u as a newby, or u can just move on and play another game. No need to stress about things in game, there are other games out there for u to enjoy

Drink beer or corn ale will keep you from losing sanity, though you will get less lunar whisper per kill but it will help you stay alive longer.
There are also these new elites popping up in settlements aside from the usual mini boss, those can one shot you if not equip or play strategically, it has a lot of defense, hp and special boost.
I believe it is made for group play but it is possible to grind it down carefully solo, just need best gears, lots of bullet and take cover.
