They released the demo for Steam Next Fest. Steam Next Fest is over, so the demo is over. Don't you even read the important infos on Steam even though you're playing on Steam?

Most likely one of those people who just skip through the tutorial videos and then ask in chat how to put up the portable camp/tent. Or how to bring out your vehicle.

no im not part of the discord (and i dont really need to be if Im looking to buy a game) and if you want to put out a ♥♥♥♥ game with a demo and not tell your customers that the demo is ending then on the download page and not expect people to get upset....

I think the big point of confusion for people is why they are able to still download the demo as of the writing of this comment, despite the demo no longer being playable. While I am on the Discord, I don't think Steam users should have to join every developer discord in order to clarify very basic stuff like this. If the demo is no longer playable, it should no longer be downloadable.

Plenty of Steam Next Fest demos remain playable after Next Fest is over. The issue is that for this particular game, you can still currently download the demo (which is quite large) only to find that it is no longer playable. Typically, when developers release limited demos for Next Fest, they remove the ability to download the demo at the end of the event. This is a bad developer oversight and blaming consumers is just silly.
