Yes, but the numbers are irrelevant, the same way PvPers in V Rising and PvPers in 7 Days to Die. The majority of V Rising players are friends playing PvE together, or people from Discord getting together to have a run. If PvPers stop playing V Rising, nothing would change.
The Fun Pimp (Developers of 7 Days to Die) and Digital Extreme (Developers of Warframe) completely ignore the PvP side of the game and only focus on balancing it for PvE because the numbers of PvPers are so few that they don't matter, it's waste of time, effort, money, and resources try to make them happy, and a risk to mess up PvE things.
Yes, there are players who play Rust PvE on community servers made properly for that, but similar to V Rising and 7 Days to Die, we are so few that we don't matter. I say "we" because I'm one of them, I don't like PvP on Rust, and I accept that the developers spend everything on PvP because this is what the game is suppose to be, I'm the odd's one out playing PvE.

I ok with theme and style but not wipe system
