I don't have time to re-play over and over. I'm an adult, I ain't got that kinda time.
Or the developers remove this system, or think about something different, or players won't keep playing the game, even for a free-to-play, won't even reach 5k players in the end. The PvP will be the first to die because, not only has naturally less players, but you won't have players to play against.
So the problem for them then becomes what do they do if they add none wipe servers?
To me they would make more money and players if they just have none wipe serves people will come back to do the seasonal content knowing their stuff is still there
V Rising doesn't wipe, only if the host wants to. Different from Once Human, V Rising world is hosted by a player, which defines if they want the server to wipe or no. So, no, I'm not wrong, you are wrong.
The difference between Rust and Once Human is the scale and objectivity. Rust is a small game with the purpose of reaching high end level in day 1 so you can fight properly against other players while Once Human is huge, takes time and effort. If we were able to reach end-game in 1 day like Rust we wouldn't matter the wipe.
Both games that you give example shows that you don't know the difference between them and Once Human, and it proves you are wrong.
Every single ARPG has the system of permanent character and seasonal character, that I also mentioned in my original post, but it seems you are too lazy to properly read everything. This system makes your seasonal character shift to permanent character, you don't lose your progress, I play a ton of ARPG, Diablo II, Diablo III, Diablo IV, Path of Exile, Last Epoch, and more, PLUS a lot of MMORPG also do that, like New World and World of Warcraft, and none of them wipes your character, just shifts them from seasonal to permanent.
Once again, even editing your comment, you shown you know nothing about this situation.
It doesn't matter if most people play or don't play the season or the permanent content. What matter is allowing the player to keep playing with their character even if it's off season, this is what every single MMORPG does, this is what every ARPG does.
I'm gonna tell you this:
If the developers don't allow us to keep playing with our characters even if the season is over, this game will die as soon as a new season come out, people may not know this will happen, but when it happen, everyone will give up on the game and complain about it.
I think you should REALLY go back and read what I said instead of only what you want to read. What I said? I said that: "IF the developers don't allow us to keep playing with our characters even if the season is over, this game will die as soon as a new season come out, people may not know this will happen, but when it happen, everyone will give up on the game and complain about it."
IF... IF... They don't allow us to keep playing with the character. They should simply do what every single other game does. Just added the permanent character, it's done.
