Thats it, I logged of yesterday, and now most of my food will spoil in like 45 minutes.
Is there a way to keep it from spoiling while offline??

So, you want this game to be eating simulator.

In no universe did I just describe an "eating simulator".

Oh, are you asking if there should be gathering, growing, and cooking in a survival type game? Yeah, obviously. Duh.

Now system is ok. If you want eat like every minute in game time, go and found other game.

Exactly this. And combine it with either orange soda or blueberry soda. Or a ton of purified water. Best bang for the buck. You will never go without food and water again and it doesn’t spoil.

Please be a bit realistic - you never ate every minute of the game. I don’t understand why you are so hell bent on not having this simple mechanic in a survival game? Why don’t you follow your own advice and go and play some generic FPS?

Yes. I never comment on something that I haven’t tested/tried.

During the demo, I “ate and drank” once pr hour or so. And I used good foods and drinks, so that each of them would top up from almost empty thirst/hunger meters.

Also, if you ate or drank more than you had to, you would get a buff saying that your hunger and thirst reduced slower.

Try to get this. Many player want to other than eat and drink all time. I love grinding but not want eat or drink like camel in game.

What game were you playing where you needed to eat and drink all the time? Because it certainly wasn't this one.

You can make boiled water and either a grilled plant or meat food easily. You can literally make enough to top off for 8 hours of game play in 5-7 minutes. If not less.

I like how we've gotten to the point where pressing what is essentially a "renew my buff for another hour" button on the keyboard has become too much of an ask for the modern MMO player.

This is the era of AFK games. People are simply too lazy to do anything, and if they are required to, then they cry.

These are the people who gets games like these, destroyed.

If you cook food and leave it on the stove it doesn't spoil. I would cook food and log off and comeback the next day it's still fresh and waiting.

Also food spoilage isn't exactly a big deal, there is a ton of food and water available if you cook and boil it.

If you ascribe it to all players, that would be inaccurate. That said, the laziness of some folks do cause me to shake my head (I frequently leave this gamer forums with a headache these days, haha).

uhm
did no one actualy mentioned the need of fertilizer for which spoiled food is needed for?
fertilizer is needed to create end game buffs because you need mutated versions of ingredients

so i felt kinda happy that the food actualy spoiled so i can fertilize it
