, the six week reset was never advertised to them rumors floated around and the devs only confessed when waves of people demanded answers and even now they still do not talk about it, they have not updated their store to mention this, they are literally trying to hide it hoping people play their game before they realize it
because they knew the damage it would cause and the damage is caused, this game will die and be supported by only the most mega whales until they are milked dry
The game is so laughable easy that there is no sense of danger, in a post apoc sirv game.
and when you dig into it, there is hardly any content, once you get past the shiny new paint and look at whats there, its so little.
Its wrong to say hate, its more massive disappointment because CBT2 was very good, people say an amazing game just gutted because overly vocal people who want nothing but super mega ultimate easy mode complained and complained the game was to hard, it was to this it was to that to the point they dumbed it down so much, a five yearold can sweep this game.
Despite the setting and everything else, what they where told
Not enough weed to keep me interested, for now. OVERALL i wouldnt say the games bad, its not, it just needs some polishing and some sense of purpose.
Night of the dead seems like a much better survival option at the point in time.
here in lays the problem they did advertised it as a hardcore sirv game lol
Ah yes because not wanting to regrind every six weeks the same stuff just dressed up differently with the occasional new splash of something actually new makes someone inflexible....RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHT
People say this game is easy. I chalk this up to experience of those who regularly play the genre or have the mechanical skill learned from other games to apply it to here. Personally, i found some of the early bosses challenging. I didn't worry about optimizing my play nor was i checking my levels. Maybe if you come prepped with a proper set of guns, know how to dodge roll when a boss stomps or beams you, you can moonwalk through it.
To be charitable, even if the game was "laughably easy", not everyone is looking to play this game to struggle. People just want to kill zombies, do some base building and be along for the ride for a story. Guns feel nice. The little puzzles you find across the world to unlock gear can be fun. The game looks amazing. Character customization is top shelf. There are minor gripes about placement to be had with base building but overall it's solid if you compare it to others. Collecting those little minions that have their own function is fun. Enemy design is amazing. Story is interesting.
TL;dr. The game's not as bad nor is being as ♥♥♥♥ on as people think. Yal just stuck in a bubble.
The game started out with deep, intricate systems that often interacted with each other, and that was really interesting. But (in large part due to player feedback) now many of those systems have been gutted to the point of barely mattering. On top of this the developers are trying to push players through the leveling process as quickly as possible because they're using very short (6 week) seasons and character wipes.
This game had a lot of potential. It's such a shame things went the way they did.
I'm not a big fan of survival type games, however this one got me hooked and tried to make my base... there's more work for sure, but it was okay for me. The locations, the enemies are interesting, the bosses and dungeons are nice... what I don't get it is the mmo part in this game.
I rarely see anyone, and it is so confusing on what content should be done in solo/co-op (not talking about the dungeons, but free roam world events!).
I like the fact that I can jump in and do my own stuff, wander the world, focus on my base, craft some new weapon etc. This game borrows so much from other games and improves upon it, fallout's base building, division's free roam feel, wanna pimp your car yep they got you. There are so many mechanics that got me pleasantly surprised.
I'm kinda worried about the wiping part, every 3 months... welp, it's still cooking, so we'll see. The difficulty should be upped a bit.
Is there both persistent and seasonal wipes or just seasonal wipes?
I haven't watched him, but does he even playing current builds? Once Human was close to being a gem and very different 6 months ago, but has gotten progressively worse and changed massively since then. Whenever I see some Twitch/Youtube personality praising the game and trying to pass along outdated tips to other players it's usually abundantly clear that they're going off some very old memories and have not bothered to refresh their knowledge with the way the game currently is.
