Skill?
My experiance with these cargo events is that a bunch of lowbies show up with their level 1 and 2 pea-shooters, and then one level 50 yolo's in with his pimped out LMG, sprays the area and effortlessly one-shots all the lowbies, whack-a-mole's them so nobody else can get a single shot off, and then walks away with all the spoils, having never broken a sweat in the process.
It takes skill alright. All the tremendous skill of shooting dead fish in a barrel.
Plus super easy, do headshots with the sniper {get it to Tier 3 or 4} and you can kill players 10-15 lvls above you. i was 38 and killed multiple lvl50's
With the PVP events like this, you go play a bit and then leave if you feel you are being overpowered, it's optional and noone forces you to participate
Nothing wrong with PVP events within PVE but other games tend to have them as a static location which can be avoided during peak hours. Having static ones would also mean that there's no performance hit from a mobile event travelling past player housing and the impact that can have on the combat
