Hives - Territory/Base

I couldn't find anything online about this but I wanted to know if its worth combining your bases with your hive? Should each member still have their own base? Is there a real benefit to both?

If so, are you able to disable or remove your territory if youre not using it?

Also id like to add that I understand you cant truly "combine" territories". I meant more in the sense of being able to build and use hive members bases as your own. Is there really a point in putting time into your own territory. Other than being able to TP to each.

in my short experience sofar, No you and a hive mate cannot build Claims linking up; Wifie and I tried. It just acts like when youre too close to any other base. There IS a "bonus" to having more than one person having bases, mainly for teleorting around (though theres a cooldown)
Yes, there are permissions in the Hive menu when u select your friend where you can let them build, and likewise they can do the same for you, and you can each add onto any base at that point.
Almost forgot, No, you cannot remove a land claim, but everything else is destroyble

PvP Benifit to connected bases... shared defenses.
PvE benifit to bases all over... free teleports or making hops cheaper, more diverse collection of resources, one in oil, one in pollution, one near the sea and farming... etc etc...
