Which server is best for someone in NZ?

I'm looking forward to starting this game, and I have read it's not possible to change servers - without creating a new character (and maybe deleting the first). I would like to start on the server I intend to stay on, do I want a SEA server? I'm going to play PvE and not on the PvP server, if that helps.

any of the Asian server you should have 110-180ms on, personally i picked the Japan servers with just under 160ms, but had 130(ish)ms on SEA. tried NA servers and had a terrible 240ms

I'm in Australia and have 130 on a Japan server while my friend from the US has 180.

Maybe a bit late but do not pick southeast Asia, I have played three wipes on there and have 370-400.
