LOL That was me yesterday with my fiancee when the next place got unlocked. We're lvl30+ and the enemies are 40+. The stardust pollution was CRAZY high that it halfed our hp bar instantly. So one or two hits from the enemies is death to us. The enemies would take a few hits to drop, so we had to farm for higher lvl mats to maker a tier 4 weapon(and I opt to use a legendary AWS.338 sniper) and armor set to survive there. Yes, we weren't supposed to, but it was near our home base, and we like to explore... XD
OFC the first season is effen easy, it's the season of the nubs. Wait until these people start at the higher tier places with low tier crap on hand. First season you can totally go an area with barely anything on and come out on top. But this season, in the higher lvls.. Might not be as easy as the nub areas. Ya the basic enemies are always easy, but there are some that are a bit of a handful, especially when they start throwing in Elemental dmg...
Even after all of that, my only first death was falling because V didn't come out even after I smacked my keyboard "space" button to infinity and beyond.
Um... IF you ever played any kuro games, you would actually sweat coz the difficulties be real there. I'm playing both their games and they're both on mobile and gachas. For those screamin for a hard mobile game to cry about, try out PGR going against Gabriel phase 2 without a time lord character to save your bacon. And even then, he's still annoying. Don't get me started on the evil twins. In wuwa, good luck at the higher lvl Holograms, especially Crownless. He's like Gabriel Phase 2 on crack. 1 combo hit from the boss and it's game over. Along with Scar.
I'm ok with this game, I see no issues here. I've seen more bugs in FO76 and the abhorrently fugly characters we're stuck with with their creation menu...
I'm confused here, what advertisement did these people saw that screamed that Once Human is challenging or similar to the challenge of souls-like games? All I saw was me shootin stuff, hording stuff and building stuff in the ads. Which I'm doing in the game. And building my base is what I've been doing most.
So where did you people get that idea?
The second boss will one shot you, and the third boss is a well known nightmare. This is likely because the bosses are balanced around duos, so if you're trying to solo it's going to be more of a challenge. Since you're limited by your level as to what gear you can equip, you won't be able to "punch down" unless you just don't do content until you overleveled.
On the flip side, with the new phase we can finally go into the level 40-50 area. And since we couldn't previously get tier 4 gear reliably, that means you're completely free to run into the end game area with your level 30 gear. Killing enemies with a fish in 1 hit suddenly becomes myth. Several full clips of headshots still don't bring down even average enemies, and the fodder zombies still take 1 full clip of headshots with a full calibrated tier 3 sniper rifle. On top of this, your sanity cuts your health to half and enemies will deal about 1/4th of your total health per hit. Compound that with all the invisible enemies that can permanently attack you while you can't even see them, and then the large number of new mini-bosses that are in the high level areas, and now suddenly enemies are quite a problem. In fact, after dumping over 1000 rounds into an enemy in a public zone, not even part of an event, just a normal mini boss, i still couldnt push him below half health.
If you're not feeling challenged, then go to the areas that are challenging.
Otherwise, expect the same treatment as any other MMO. Take WoW for example, as the most successful MMORPG to ever exist, where you literally just 1-shot everything thats your level. The challenge in these games lies in the instance and world bosses that are balanced around Co-Op.
In this game, you can 1v1 normal zombies in melee and they will be perma-stunned, unable to do anything until they die to you. Or you can just snipe everything without ever drawing aggro. and its only going to get crazier.
But for now, there -is- challenge, you just have to seek it out. If they raised the level of normal mobs to a higher level it would deter casual players. This is why games prefer to have easy content as the standard and put the harder content in the more specific events/raids/dungeons/instances/world bosses
1. mobile games cant be challenging?
2. if you are type of person who like casual chill games where players kill everything without effort then you are the problem
3. no one is asking for 20 hour grind a day game with difficulity as dark souls stop exxegerating
LOL dont worry you will start dying later :D and a lot
i like eazy its not time consuming and enjoyable!
This. I love the game and I even bought the battle pass to support them but it's honestly not fun, I'm lv 30 and gunplay is horrible, snipers have a huge hitbox you cant even miss headshots, even if you aim to the right or left, you still hit it. Enemies barely do any damage to you, their guns are useless and "novice level" is just an excuse, I expected the game to be easy in the first levels like any similar games, but even in the actual "endgame" (I know it's still phase 1) there's barely any threat.
They should simply improve enemy AI and increase their damage and accuracy, and buff some weapons since melee is way too strong that there's no point in using guns in the open world
You wouldn't have survived gaming in the 80's.
Where do you think the phrase "Nintendo hard" came from?
That was my generation. We may have complained, but that didn't stop us from spending hours, days, sometimes WEEKS trying to beat a single boss. And then doing it.
And don't even get me started on the convoluted mechanics and level design that we had to contend with.
Go get the game Golgo 13 and give it a whirl.
You'll be a crying mess in the corner by the end of the 2nd stage. I promise.
There are actual issues and concerns that need to be addressed with the game. Not being hard enough for some people should be on the back burner for now.
