The first descendant came out what 2 weeks ago and that game also free to play is ton of fun, its grindy has some issues but the movement, the combat feels great, the big boss fights can actually prove to be challenging specially once you get to hard mode its actually kind of really insane. You get powers you have great cosmetics. Then you play once human its cash shop cosmetics look awful, its gunplay is worse then games back in the early 2000's its movement feels so weird at times, the driving feels very slow and anything you bump into hurts your vehicle. You can mele everything in the game and the npcs have almost no awareness your there and when they do its still super easy to one or two shot mobs 10 levels higher then you.
And the horror aspect of this game isn't scary at all, not felt a inch of fear the entire time i played, cool design but constantly seeing same enemies different areas. If anything it just feels like im playing a way worse version of conan exiles. And the deviants are cool but if you enjoy that aspect its like just play palworld or something.
LOL what. I'm making a base with my buddies its like a village with multiple territory's joined together. Play the game lol.
Phases aren't upping the difficulty, just unlocking areas/features.
The first season is "novice" season. What's more, I'm not sure where you are or what weapons you're using, but I'm level 35, enemies at level 42 in an area I wasn't supposed to be in were nearly one shotting me, the elite enemies of the area did one shot me. I also had to mag dump over 100 rounds from a legendary LMG into him to bring him down.
That being said, most common enemies are pretty easy game, and only a handful of bosses will give you trouble and that's typically only if you solo them. I haven't died since Treant laser beamed me from across the arena.
wdym hostile why are you such a snowflake? i just said people need get their hands hold by the game or they cry jeez just becuz i disagree with you on something doesnt mean i dislike you or that im hostile to you
2. If you are the type of person that goes for minmaxed meta builds and then complain about bosses dying too fast you are the problem, not the game.
3. Casual MMOs allow for more variety of playstyles. This is similar to FO76, where players there enjoy chilling with different weapons and taking the game slow.
This isn't a game for the 20 hour a day hardcore sweat that eats at the computer desk and only leaves to take a dump once in a while.
There is nothing wrong with a casual MMO. Since we are comparing it to First Descendant, TFD is downright hostile to anyone who wants their time respected. Unless you are a premade Ajax + 3 Gley squad with farmed sets and modules you are going to be butting your head against the wall many times with pugs and abysmal drop rates, which lead to you dying to bosses because your gear is bad.
