Morel, Where Art Thou?

Can anyone tell me where I can find Morel Mushrooms?

I've scoured the countryside watersides, the dry areas, I can I can't find a single one!

Anyone know a location where I can reliably grab a couple?

i haven't found the actual mushroom in the wild, i've gotten drops of seeds every now and then in high level areas though

They cannot be found in the wild. The only way to obtain them is finding the seeds for them in random agricultural areas. In trash cans boxes, etc... The key is that once you obatin some. Plant them immediately, do not use them for cooking. Slowly grow more and more until you have an unlimited supply. They are by far one of the rarest items.

Yup they are different one brings meat (lethal bunny), the other brings ingredients and seeds for cooking and depending on the variant they can also bring acid or deviated flowers.

In Manibus scenario you have giant tress you can cut with a pickAxe (can't miss them in Blackfell though the other regions also have those),

in Way of Winter so far they seem to be a lootable than you can pick up by just looting in some areas.
