Why do Crystgin packs follow the predatory store practice?

I hate to see it in games, but it's a way to make you spent more:
The pack you want to buy costs 1280 crystgin - but oohh too bad, you can only buy 1090 crystgin! So you have to buy the 330 pack on top, leaving you with 1420 crystgin / 140 crystgin after buying the cosmetic.

But what do you want with 140 crystgin? Oh wait there is another item but it's 360 crystgin.. so you better spent another $5 so nothing goes to waste right?



Developers, let us either:
A: Exchange money directly for a chosen amount of crystgin
B: Exchange money directly for the cosmetic.

Stop this shady business practice with pricing stuff just out of reach of one pack so you have to buy another.

Or buy a 120 cradle charm and a 20 small gift box. That totals 140.

So that means no predatory practice.

Sorry to break your dreams, but you have zero clue how these type of games work right ? New in gaming industry I suppose ? Now, let me ask you...How much did you pay for this game exactly ? And how p2w is battle pass included in this game ? I would wish (with many of people), that we would have more starchrome or something more in paid battle pass version, than just cosmetics...And yet you complain about something absolutely normal in any game lol. I am impressed how far some must go, to go here and post something so useless...Like I am sorry. But what more do you want ?? This game is propably the best monetized game so far, and trust me I played a lot of similar games and also gacha games included :).

Agree, thankfully it's only Cosmetic. I really don't like Cash shop for enhancement material/protection in typical F2P game, not only P2W but very very costly to actually win.

Last MMO I played was FFXIV, I was a Legacy Subcriber since the original Beta, and for over a decade paid the monthly fee. Also spent couple hundred dollars on Cosmetic stuff, and I'm very happy to do so because none of it is P2W. Well of course it's a P2P game but the cash shop is entirely cosmetic, and the most prized cosmetic come from in game challenges like Raid. I would rather spent moolah on that than some F2P with P2W cash shop.

Yeah, I absolutely agree with you...I usually do not interact with posts on Steam like this, but this made me mad xD. I would not write a thing, if game was p2w, BUT (battle pass-premium is only cosmetics), and monetization is not on type of ''predatory gameplay'' when devs force you to pay for something to ''speed up'' process. I personally bought bp and meta pass just to support the devs...And to think about this post again...He can actually buy the top up and then buy legit like 5 usd meta pass for those extra bits of premium currency. Which is actually only for cosmetics and well...Gamble with crates (which is actually normal these days), they gotta have some income, when game is free etc. I just don't understand these posts...Like OK, if you want to be mad about something then I would go with lack of DLSS and frame generation and some more. BUT devs stream was pretty chill and very friendly. I was actually impressed how many times they apologized and they are fixing things the moment they come up. It just takes some time to implement it.
