tl;dr try rotating it, im curious if it works. Also try separating them by distance a bit and see.
I dunno man i understand now and it doesn't make sense but I feel like it's just some weird thing like that. Hopefully it works out
Thank you for the response and for trying to help, and sorry for keep asking. Tried everything. Can't get 2nd+3rd hydro gens to work at all. No matter the connections, water level, etc. Relocated again, now by the lake, nothing. Only 1st one works. And i'm still 3/6 at gen capacity. Must be a bug or something then. I will just use Biomass gens as 2nd/3rd, because friend of mine just now have exact same issue while trying to use second hydro gen. Hopefully devs will take a look into issue bc game is just great.
5. Water Generators sometimes not producing power even if placed in water. Seems some places are not considered water even if in water.
- Demolish Hydraulic Generators that does not work
- Build a new one and place it on different water spots
- If the new generator are working and have output value, you can safely relocate them anywhere you want
For some reason some spots on waters are not count as 'water'. So the only way to fix it is by keep making new one on different areas until it works
It's kind of a dumb method but for me, I kept moving the Hydraulic Generator around on the water, until it "got power" and was able to place it on places where it doesn't, or at least where it looks like it isn't considered water and it still generates power after picking up power the first time, as indicated by the Max Output text(shows as 0 if it isn't working).
I'll post some picture links. After the above method, 1st one, some attached wires, 2nd one, no attached wires in a different spot of my plot. Hope it might help the frustrated or the people who don't wanna do Biomass generators.
