Friends cant join me on my server

The server limits are a real burden, everything related to server stuff in this game is absolutely bad but this rly brings it to another level, you miss out on so many players because ppl cant join their friends anymore.

Me and a friend started playing the game together.
We couldnt play together till the next day cuz there was a 1 char per account rule and u got locked out the second u entered the char creation.

Next day.

We could play together now, yay.

couple days later.

Another friend wanted to join us, he couldnt create a char on our server, me and this friend went to another server.

Next day.

The friend I started on the first server with couldnt join us on the second server because, u guessed it, the server was full.

Today.

Another another friend wanted to play with us, he installed the game and he couldnt create a char on our server too.


This is unacceptable, the servers run so bad the second a bunch of players start playing, making PvP unplayable and I cant play with my friends because every server reaches its limits in like 10 minutes.

Give us a free server transfer once per week or month or anytime we want to (i dont know why we shouldnt be able to), starting asap. You need to fix this stuff

Yeah. I'm too far invested to start a new character with my friends now but I'm sick of running around a ghost server where I'm lucky to see another player once an hour unless I'm at a public event.

a.) I have started 2 full characters and it is a non issue, The second time round I got to level 25 in maybe 10 hours and to electricity /steel in 2 hours.
b.) The developers never said anything about fixing this this week. They said as soon as possible hopefully within August (15th of August patch is gonna be huge)
c.) Major changes like a redesign of how the server login / character system works, are major changes. I actually don't expect such major changes to come easy. But then I am a software dev/architect.
d.) Hope this comes too as I am in the same boat, but I would be happy to run various characters with various friends on various servers.

We are slowly coming from Rust where we had a 20 man team only a few was able to get on to the same server the rest went back to Rust.

Ive been trying to join friends on server 069 for about 2 weeks and keeps saying "Crowded" yet when theyre playing its empty -frustrating being unable to join friends and not going to make them swap servers

Server Invitations]

Special invitation codes are now available. If a server is full, players already on the server can find their special invitation code on their Player Info screen, which can be accessed via the menu. They can then share this special invitation code with their friends. Friends who receive the special invitation code can use it to enter the server even if it is already full.

Note: As servers have restricted capacity, there is still a limit to the number of players who can join each server using special invitation codes. Once a server reaches this limit, no more players may join it, even if they have a code. Hence, it is recommended that you invite your friends as soon as possible. Each player can invite up to five friends.

this is just crap. Dont tell us we have invite codes and then limit the timeframe in which we can use them.

Always have something to complain about. What timeframe though? I invited my friends at week 3 or 4, are you sure your server just wasn’t at max capacity even beyond invites
