Once human or first descendant rather for "casuals"?
At the moment I play much once human and first descendant, I like both very much. But what I worry about is, which game is better for people who actual have to work 40-50 hours in the week, since both games seems very time consuming.

The positive of first descendant is, that you can just play a match and then take a break, while in once human I have the feeling like "You need to still do this and this, do not log out yet". Also there are no wipes, so not feeling the pressure to have to do this and that in the season before it wipes.

But as many know first descendant has a high grind factor, so for stuff you have to grind sometimes days, while in once human you can just play and get stuff while doing missions or just having fun.

I am unsure at the moment where to spend more time at, since I fear, I will not be able to archive enough in once human, when there is pressure for wipes.

So I am unsure which of both games is rather for "casuals" who actual still have a life and so not much time to play.

I'd go with Once Human since "server wipe" and "PVE server" are a thing. You won't have to worry about others and the "endgame" stuff can be done by yourself to enjoy it. The First Descendant feel much more like a daily life thing that will F you up if you don't play daily.

Played both and like this one way more. TFD just felt soulless. Plus it feels like you can actually earn stuff without spending 100 hours grinding.

Today I rather had the feeling other way round. There is nothing in first descendant, which forced me to play daily, as there is not competition or pvp. But I got crushed in a truck-mission by level 44+ people who seemed to have spend much more time into once human.

Neither.

Grindy F2P games with battle passes are never a good idea for casual play...

That said if you really aren't affected by FOMO and can control yourself around IAPs either could be fine.

I personally like Once Human more because of the survival type stuff. If I didn't want do all that gathering, crafting, base building, farming... I'd lean more toward First Descendant.

One other thing to think about is that Once Human's seasonal "wipes" are still kind of an unknown, I mean you can read about it in great detail but, I think, until we actually go through one (60 days from now) we aren't really gonna know what it actually feels like.

They are 2 completely different games. Download both and try which one you like the most, you do not need to play 100 hours to make an opinion, especially not with TDF since you do the same thing over and over again.. I would stick with Once Human if they fully had implemented key remapping but the dealbreaker to not even touch the game is that I am not allowed to jump with my scroll wheel, because that button is hard bound to the most useless feature that you could think of ''weapon swapping''.... They mentioned that they will not fix this key remapping problem till sometime in August, which pretty much tells me that I will never play this game because I want to be in the game when it is fresh. I also start my work in August and I am not interested in playing a grindy game when I come home from work.
