Half my base disappeared; PSA

While going through a silo got a bunch of notifications that i had "obtained" a bunch of my deviants that i had in their cases at base so i knew something was wrong. Finished the silo and came back to find that half of my base has disappeared. Got some of the materials back but no easy way to rebuild as i hadn't made a blueprint for the base (my bad i know but the base wasn't done and i didn't see a reason; i do now)

As of now probably done with the game as I lost so much and can't be bothered to rebuild it all. Might check it out next season or something.

TLDR; Save a blueprint for your base if you can in case the game decides to nuke your base

sounds like the bottom in a spot broke and whatever was above it got deleted thats how i remove my house when im gonna totally redo it

Can confirm, had this happen too, but luckily only lost a couple of things, which felt weirdly random but odd nonetheless.

For me the floor/foundation was still there, but the machinery/stations I'd built on top of it were gone.

btw you guys didn't get any materials back? When I do the thing i mentioned i get all the mats back or at least enough of them back that I haven't noticed missing any

I got some of them back but definitely had some missing, I'd only left my base about 15 minutes before it happened.

This happened to me. A spot where I had a drying rack and chest full of jerky and salt. Gone. Sigh...

I heard that monsters can attack your base? Not sure if they can destory something though...

They can destroy stuff. If you call a wave and have that thing inside your building they will rip through your entire base to get to it. They will take the direct way, but dont shy down from tering it down.

And given those waves are normal mobs, and those "busses" drop those mobs its totaly posible that they attacked it, OR someone lured something to it(wich is also posible)

How did you manage to pick one of the only threads that's not about the current issue? There are dozens of them now, yet you managed to pick one about someone who got their base destroyed because of a reason they can't figure out.

All of my floors, roof and cellings are gone. I cant place my house in a new spot without it trying to appear 100 feet in the air. I wont be able to play until they fix it. Kind of ♥♥♥♥♥♥ too if they dont fix it ASAP as ill miss out on some of the season

I just started a wave to do star dust thing and as soon as it started I turned round and my crates with all my items in disappeared but I still had all my walls and no monsters on the corner of the house where the crates was
