Cannot see my friend

I asked my friend to start on server 8 pve NE, she did and it landed her on 3 even after she clicked that shes sure she wants to be on 8. now we tried to meet up i cannot see her ever. She is almost done with the monlolith greed quest and i still cannot see her. no matter what we do we can be on the same server 3 and i cannot see her in the same exact spot shes on. the chat is different everything is different on her screen. I am level 17 so maybe thats why, but i cannot make any sense of it. No help as to why i cannot play with my friend. No one has a clear answer in game and no ones been able to help.

Maybe they are in a different instance. Look up at the upper right of the UI and see if you are in the same instance. Each server has 10+ instances. if you go to the teleporter in Deadsville you can change the instance.

yea i know i keep ending up in range world 1 5732-6548 she is world 1 5734-6552 she shows up as a friend from another server but i cant see her ever to invite her to party or team up. can someone help me how to invite her to party under different server friends. this is so lame we are steam friends i should be able to invite her.

So i figured it out. When you join your friends instance you cant tp to you base which is most likely in the other instance. so relocate your base in the same instance as her.
